Linda Sue “Susie” Comer

President & Treasurer

Susie has been with the company since its inception in 1982.  As President, Treasurer and Director of the Estimating & Project Management Divisions and Customer Relations, Susie continues to expand the company’s role as a leader in the construction industry by assuring that customers are provided with the highest level of quality construction services at market competitive prices. More >

Leona M. Comer-Hill

Vice President

Leona joined the company in 1986 to assist in the day-to-day operations.  She also manages maintenance and repairs of the equipment, automotive and truck fleet.

Paul Swank

Vice President of Operations

Paul has been with the company since 2012.  In his role as Vice President of Operations and his astonishing management skills and vast knowledge of the construction industry Paul manages and oversees all day-to-day operations.  Paul guides and assist in every aspect of the business including financing, investments, equipment purchases, bidding, estimating, field operations, billing, accounts receivable, safety, equipment maintenance, employee benefits, hiring, employee relations, policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations, information technology and much more.

Timothy D. Kaptein, CSP, CHST, STS

Director of Safety

Timothy has been with the company since 2008. In his role as the Director of Safety, Tim is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of policies, procedures and programs to reduce and eliminate occupational injuries and illnesses. Tim also develops the company’s accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs and maintains Federal Motor Carrier Safety Compliance Records.  Tim ensures the company is in strict compliance with all safety-related contractor requirements.

Timothy received his Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Health Safety Technician (CHST) and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).

Matthew A. Scarff

Chief Estimator

Matt has been with the company since 2010. In his role as Chief Estimator, Matt oversees the estimating process for all project bids; establishes bidding procedures; and directs all estimating activities, such as budgeting, staff scheduling and development, training and departmental goals.

Dorothy J. Kuzora

Corporate Secretary

Dorothy has been with the company since 2004. Dorothy oversees all Human Resources-related activities, including employee relations, recruiting, selection and hiring activities, new employee orientation, and communication of all related policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Dorothy also assists and manages the health insurance benefits, the 401K benefit program, Accounts Receivables and Information Technology.

Keith Kuzora

General Manager

Keith graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio. He worked in the refuse industry for 4 years prior to spending 17 years at Ryder. He was as a technician, a heavy rebuild technician, and a lead technician, before becoming Shift supervisor. He also finished in the top 8 of the Ryder top tech competition. Now, Keith is learning the construction trade at Comer Construction as General Manager to assist Dorothy.
