Comer Construction served as the site work contractor for this $247 million outpatient building and parking garage, providing utility work, stormwater management, demolition, grading, curb and gutter work, material haul-off, sidewalks, and paving.

The 225,000 square foot ambulatory care building replaced another local medical center, while providing increased service capacity. As the largest Kaiser Permanente medical hub in Baltimore County, the facility is equipped to offer a range of vital services including surgery, radiology, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic imaging. The center also features 24/7 urgent care, clinical laboratories, oncology pharmacies, chemotherapy services, medical offices, retail space, and a community center.

The facility, which is Kaiser Permanente’s sixth comprehensive care center in the region, features streamlined design for improved operations and the latest advances in healthcare technology, such as real-time mammogram results. It will service nearly 200,000 patient visits per year, with nearly 100 physicians and 250 staff members.

The accompanying 330,000 square foot, seven-story garage features dedicated sections for maternity patients and nearly two dozen electric car charging stations.
